School Year Curriculum

September - May

The focus of our curriculum is to advance the different developmental skills in each child, such as fine motor, gross motor, language, social-emotional, math, science, art and music. These skills are practiced in the daily activities, and supported with guidance by the teachers. Spanish, both spoken and written, is strongly emphasized and incorporated into the daily activities through book reading, songs and conversation. The curriculum is presented to students through thematic units generally lasting a month. Daily activities are planned to reinforce concepts relating to the theme.

Summer Camp Curriculum

June - August

The focus of the summer camp curriculum is to engage the children in a variety of fun activities such as gardening, pool day, cooking, field trips, science and art. Daily activities are designed to cultivate a joy for learning. Like our traditional curriculum, the summer camp will strongly emphasize Spanish and be incorporated into daily activities through book reading, songs, and conversation.
